Ryan and Robert's Central Park Wedding : NYC Engagement and Wedding Photographer
After much deliberation I am happy to announce that I will begin adding couple, engagement, and wedding photography back into my repertoire. I am so excited to get back to working with couples to capture those special moments between lovers.
I was so honored when I received a Facebook message from Ryan and Robert to photograph their wedding. Both reside in New Orleans but made their way to NYC to get married in Central Park. Ryan and Robert first met while attending college at Northwestern State University for Theatre (me too!) Fast forward some undisclosed years.....Robert is actor appearing on show such as "American Horror Story" and Ryan runs Glorioso Casting based out of New Orleans, however their love is a vibrant as those college days.
Robert explained to me that they wanted something really simple and small. I first met the pair in the Shakespeare Garden near Belvedere Castle. After walking through the garden we met up with their best friend from college (who performed the ceremony) and his partner. To watch these two express their love for each other was incredibly magical. I wasn't the only one who felt this way either. A large crowd gathered through out the ceremony which was absolutely amazing. When they turned to hear 50+ strangers clapping and celebrating them there wasn't a dry eye in the castle. It could not have ended any better. This was a beautifully simple day that showed me all you need is love!
